Sometimes you want an impressive dessert that takes very little work. This recipe is the perfect solution to that. It's simple to create, looks like you put a lot of work into it, and tastes great. And since this is a freezer cake, you can make it ahead of time and simply add the final caramel touch right before serving, which means that it's the perfect cake to pull out when you have guests over. The combination of vanilla, banana, cinnamon and caramel combine in this cake for an absolute delight to the senses. And because it's Diply approved, you know that it's suitable for any culinary level!

What you'll need:

- pound cake
- 2 bananas
- cinnamon
- vanilla ice cream, softened
- caramel sauce
- whipped topping
- freezer

The method:

Slice your pound cake, lengthwise, into one inch sections. Peel your bananas and slice them. Spread vanilla ice cream over the bottom layer of your cake. Add banana slices and sprinkle with cinnamon. Place the next cake layer on top and repeat. Top with the final cake layer. Cover the whole thing with whipped cream (you can either pipe this to make it fancy, or glob and spread with a spatula). Freeze it. When you pull it out of the freezer, drizzle (or cover) the cake with caramel sauce. BOOM. You're done. That was easy, wasn't it? Now enjoy that banana foster cake. Mmmmm.
