Girl Gets Her Wisdom Teeth Removed And Becomes Hilariously Emotional

Nothing hits that funny bone quite like pumping a human being full of drugs and letting them say reputation-shattering things on camera for the world to see. That's why I internet every day. Today's victim of viral content is an anonymous Justin Bieber fangirl who just had her wisdom teeth removed and is now feeling the after-effects of some really, really good drugs.

I remember when I got my wisdom teeth removed. I felt fine the first night, so I assumed it wouldn't get any worse. I then decided to go to a party and play some beer pong for a few hours. Yep, I'm coming down from drugs and consuming alcohol, it was a hell of a time. It wasn't 'til about three or four games in that my gums started bleeding. Thankfully, the alcohol was numbing the pain (another terrific benefit of booze), so I was able to push through.

Well, the next morning, after I spent most the night spitting up blood into a cup, I was not only hungover, but also in a ridiculous amount of pain because I had spent the entire night drinking, eating chips and talking. Apparently, you shouldn't do any of that stuff after mouth surgery. It's actually recommended that you limit talking, eating and any alcohol whatsoever. Imagine my surprise. Oh well, I got a story out of it...kinda like this chick.

Blind Man Attempts To Draw Sketches

Can blind people draw? Tommy Edison, who has been blind since birth, decided to put the question to rest by attempting to draw sketches of a few common things. As someone who had never experienced vision, even as a child, life to Edison is completely three-dimensional. His perception of physical objects is entirely rendered through touch, so the concept of drawing a three-dimensional object on a two-dimensional piece of paper was completely foreign to him. In spite of this, he tried it anyways.

Using nothing but his mind's eye, a sharpie, and some paper, the first thing Edison attempted to draw was a cat. In the video, you can see the fascinating results that occur when Edison takes the marker to the paper. So... After all the anticipation... Can someone who's never experienced vision draw?

Um, well, no. At least, not Edison. Witnessing him struggle to draw the cat would feel mean-spirited if Edison didn't have such a great sense of humor about it. Without sight, Edison has no context for the image he's trying to draw. He also has no way of visualizing the lines he's already drawn, so many of the lines don't end up connecting.

After attempting to draw a cat, Edison tries his hand at sketching a car. Initially, his wheels look somewhat promising, but as he goes to work on drawing the doors, something gets lost in translation.

Lastly, Edison attempts a self portrait. This drawing might be his strongest, in a sort of surrealist, avant-garde way. Even though Edison may not be able to draw particularly well, his efforts are commendable.

It is also important to note that there are many blind artists who, in spite of their lack of sight, are capable of creating beautiful works. John Bramblitt, for instance, never painted until he went blind, and he is now an internationally renowned artist.

This Man Hilariously Captures What Taking Instagram-Worthy Photos Is REALLY Like

Nowadays, there's no such thing as just sharing a photo on your Instagram. No. It's a full affair now. You have to start thinking about the photo even before you've taken it! Do you have a good background? How's the lighting? What's your pose? Did you make sure people weren't in the shot to ruin the photo? Did your friend take enough photos for you to choose from? Do you have a slew of apps to put the photo through so you can choose the perfect combination of filters? Did you craft an apt caption? Honestly, I'm just tired thinking about the process! And don't try to deny it, we've all been that person who's pressured their friends or boyfriends to take a flawless photo.

At its core, Coachella is a place where people come together to listen to their favorite artists perform live. But it's become so much more than just a music festival. It's prime time for you to get those Instagram-worthy photos. The music and dancing comes later! Because really, if you attended Coachella and didn't take that classic photo of you posing in front of the Ferris wheel, then did you even go to Coachella?

Travis Henning went to Coachella with his girlfriend and decided to show her what it was like to be her own personal photographer. The best part of it all is that he filmed his little parody for everyone to see. And it's remarkable how easily he's managed to capture what we all sound and look like when taking these Instagram photos.

You can show up to Coachella in these adorable outfits, but it doesn't mean anything if there isn't photographic evidence of you wearing them. So rock those outfits and choose your pose wisely. These photos will last forever on your Instagram.

These supermodels are demonstrating the classic "peace sign, legs up" pose to celebrate being at the famous music festival.

Travis manages to nail the pose in an instant. He's even got the right picture-perfect angle down.

Another popular pose is standing with your back to the camera. It's a way of showing how happy you are to be there.

Travis really should become an Instagram model. He has a natural talent!

Google Unveils Interactive Time-Lapse Of The Earth Over 33 Years

Google has expanded the Timelapse feature of the Google Earth Engine, and it now contains annual satellite images of the entire world from 1984 through 2016. It's so cool to see things like Olympic venues being built in cities like London, England, or the incredible expansion of Chinese towns into sprawling cities.

What's coolest about this feature, though, is that on top of the video highlights, you can actually explore the Google Earth Engine, pointing the camera at exactly what you want to see and panning and zooming to get a better look.

To achieve this, Google used over 5 million satellite images and combined them with CREATE Lab's Time Machine library in Carnegie Mellon University. This technology allowed the Timelapse to be fully interactive. How awesome is that! I've already lost too much time watching my hometown grow over the course of three decades!

Watch A Man Catch A Razor Clam With Just Salt

Most of the time, we can agree on what people think of as beach activities. Even before you go, you expect to see people swimming, building sand castles, skipping stones and maybe playing volleyball. Other sights, like someone roaming the beach with a metal detector, are a little less common. Still, we've heard of that, so it's not that unusual.

But sometimes, what we think of as "normal" beach behavior depends on the region. You're probably not going to see a lot of lobster traps on the West Coast, but they're all over the place in some Atlantic states.

On the flip side, people out east might not expect to see people pouring salt on the beach. And they definitely wouldn't expect to see what happens next, which you can check out in the full video.

As you watch it, you might wonder what just popped out of the sand. The West Coast is famous for its beaches, but do they really have a bunch of giant yellow worms lurking underneath them?

What you're seeing is actually a razor clam. You can find them on beaches from California to Alaska, and there are more people looking for them than you'd think.

In Washington state alone, about 250,000 people a year flock to the beaches to flush them out. That's because they're considered a really tasty, meaty clam and digging them up is fun for the whole family.

Usually, people use a shovel and a special tube when they think they've found a clam hole, but it looks like YouTube Mark Clark has found an easier way. And if you haven't yet, you can see how he does it in the full video.

These Construction Workers Spot A Sick Girl Waving From Her Hospital Window...

When you think of construction workers, you may imagine some pretty tough, hardworking, strong guys who have little time for non-construction stuff. On those long, hot days of digging and lifting, you would expect that they might not think to look at the scenery. The steel workers in this video have been working hard on this building that neighbors a children's hospital. At some point, they noticed someone watching them work from one of the many windows of the hospital; that someone was small child, smiling and waving to them. A little girl with cancer waved to them every morning, without fail.

As time passed, the workers looked forward to their morning wave with the sick little girl and decided to show her exactly how much they care and hope for her recovery. Her parents were overjoyed.

This 71-Year-Old Wallet Was Found In A Theatre, And You Won't Believe Whose It Was

When you acquire a piece of property, it's sometimes interesting to think what happened to it before you showed up. That curiosity is how "if these walls could talk" became such a common phrase, but sometimes an old building can say more than you'd think.

Every now and then, you'll hear a story about the amazing things people find in their homes. They can range from secret rooms to priceless artwork, but not every find has to be so grand to be important.

And that's what an Iowa theater owner found out when he was renovating his business.

He'd been well aware of his theater's history. Before it grew into the Talent Factory comedy club it is today, it began as a movie theater in the 1920s. Sloan always wondered what it would be like for so many people to see a movie for this first time. But what he found led him to the answer.

It was a plastic wallet. And a little calendar inside helpfully told him it was last seen in 1944, making the wallet over 70 years old. To give you an idea of how old that really is, the owner's phone number was '8' when he had lost it. Just '8'.

Sloan wondered whether the wallet's owner was still alive, but he was keen to find out. He was a private investigator before he bought the Talent Factory, so he put his skills to use once again and tracked down 85-year-old Clare McIntosh.

Watch what happens when McIntosh is reunited with a memento he didn't even know he owned.

She uses a floral adhesive to glue the baby succulents onto acrylic nails.

And the best part about succulent nails is that you can replant them after they've fallen off the nails.

Dog Gets Extremely Excited To Dig A Hole At The Beach

While you barely have the motivation to get up off the couch to grab a slice of two-day-old pizza from the fridge, remember that there's a dog out there — let's call him Ezekiel — who gets overly enthusiastic about digging holes for no particular reason.

This reminds me of the time where one of my bosses, with sorrow in his voice and a broken heart, said to me, "I don't know what we did to deserve dogs." He lamented this while sipping on a milkshake with a look of utter depression on his face.

"You okay, buddy?" I asked him, not knowing whether this was a moment where he needed the tender embrace of another man — his subordinate — or whether he needed to be left alone to marinate in his awkwardly long moment of self-loathing. I elected not to touch him, much less embrace him. He's a man who is very much afraid of all love that doesn't come in the form of wet slobbery kisses from his aunt Jane or a loveable dog.

"I'll never be okay," he said.

I nodded in agreement. He'll never be okay. Most of us will never be okay. Which is why dogs and their inexplicable happiness are so special to us.

This Insane Scientist Puts His Life At Risk To Teach Physics, And We Love It

It may not be everyone's favorite subject, but when it comes to understanding the world, physics is one of the most important things you can learn.

After all, it's the science of motion and as we go through life, we're always in motion.

Knowing how something is going to move in a given context is not just useful. In the right situation, it can save your life.

I mean, you don't want to re-enact Final Destination in the dumbest way possible, right?

And one Norwegian scientist is taking that lesson to the extreme with his new experiment.

This is Andreas Wahl.

He's a physicist and TV host famous for making science fun for kids. He does this with some pretty extreme stunts, so he's like a cross between Bill Nye the Science Guy and Evel Knievel.

And this is definitely not his first rodeo.

Last month, he dropped from a height of almost 50 feet, but knew the force of a weight wrapping around a pole would keep him from breaking his legs.

And if that's not enough, he fired a rifle at himself underwater.

The gun was only 10 feet away, but water resistance is a different beast than air resistance, so the bullet just kind-of dribbled out.

But this might be his most dangerous stunt yet.

He's about to swing a one ton wrecking ball at himself. And you can see how close he's setting it off.

Now in theory, it shouldn't kill him.

The Law of Conservation of Energy states you can't create or destroy energy, so any energy that exists in something will stay constant. This means that the wrecking ball should end up swinging to the exact point Wahl let it go.

But you'll notice that isn't making him any less nervous.

If he moves his head a little bit or if the beam that ball is swinging from gives out, he's screwed.

But there's only one way to find out if it'll work.

Here's What Happens When Molten Aluminum Is Poured Into A Fish Tank

It's a common saying that you learn something new every day, but if you spend a lot of time on YouTube, you start to find out a different truism.

You can also see something really cool that you're not supposed to try at home every day.

It's kind of unfortunate because the first instinct when you see something awesome is to want to try it, but that pesky better judgement always gets in the way. Though I would think it's worse to never see the cool thing than to never be able to try it. So these brave Youtubers do us a great service by opening our eyes to all the dangerously cool stuff the world has to offer.

One of these YouTubers goes by TheBackYardScientist and he's going to show us what can happen when you pour molten aluminum into a big fish tank.

But he's not just filling it with water.

He's going to fill it with a bunch of these neat water beads. They're clear, they're bouncy...

And they're super absorbent.

In fact, they can absorb about 200 times their weight in water. But TheBackYardScientist's fish tank is pretty big, so he needed about three pounds of water beads to fill it all the way.

And he's joined by his faithful lab assistant.

Good to see he remembered the goggles. Safety first!

And with some molten aluminum, he's ready to go!

Although it takes four hours for the beads to absorb the water, it only takes 15 minutes to melt the aluminum he needs.

And on the next page, we'll see what happens when they all come together.

And speaking of safety, he apparently just got a face mask.

He said he bought it to appease the "safety crybabies" in his viewership.

We'll ignore that remark and just be happy he's staying safe.

Video Shows Watermelon Party Trick

Everyone loves a good party trick, but it's even better when the trick is fun for the whole family! Former NASA engineer Mark Rober first went viral with his hilarious watermelon smoothie hack, and now he's back with another watermelon trick that's sure to wow your friends and family. He begins with two watermelons that are a similar size and shape, and then shows us step by step how to "skin" a watermelon. After skinning the first watermelon, he carves out his second melon and places the skinned watermelon inside. When he's done, it looks like a seemingly normal watermelon—but when he pulls it apart it looks like he has super strength. The best part is that when the trick is over, everyone is left with a delicious summer treat to enjoy in the heat!

Twins Thought To Be Identical Turn Out To Have Different Fathers

There really is no way of telling how things are going to turn out. A pregnancy can turn out a lot of different ways, and that goes double when someone's having twins.

They can be identical, fraternal and in rare cases, conjoined. That happens once about every 200,000 births, but there's one thing that's even rarer.

When a mother in Vietnam had her twin sons, she couldn't help but notice how different they looked. While it's definitely true that twins aren't always identical, these two didn't even seem related.

She and her husband wondered if the hospital had given them the wrong baby, but DNA testing proved that wasn't what happened.

Instead, the truth was a lot more unexpected. And you can watch the full video to find out just how it happened.

As the twins grew into toddlers, the family discovered one of them had thin, straight hair while the other had thick, wavy hair. Baffled, the parents submitted them for DNA testing.

They found out that even though the twins shared the same womb, they had different fathers. The testing was done by the Vietnam Genetic Association, who said the results were 100% accurate. This was Vietnam's first case of bi-paternal twins.

This happens so rarely that there are less than 10 known cases of it in the world, but it's hard to tell how many are going unreported.

And the reason it's so rare is because so much has to come together for it to happen. A woman has to produce two eggs in a short time frame and two different men have to have sex with her within a few days of each other.

Of course, even that doesn't guarantee this will happen, but it sure did in this case.
