In my own kitchen, I keep plastic container lids corraled in a pair of these bad boys. You should let us know in the COMMENTSif you have any other great tricks!
1. Save space in the pantry.
A magazine holder turned on its back is perfect for dispensing cans of soup and keeping them from taking over all of the shelf space.
2. Keep water bottles at hand.
I don't know about you, but my spare water bottles live in the cupboard above the fridge. This means that I can only reach the ones at the front without resorting to a step ladder, and I'm doomed if I knock them over. I think I'm going to have to swipe this trick so I can always choose the bottle I want.
3. Sort your accessories.
If you have a different wallet or clutch to match every outfit, magazine holders can help keep them from straying everywhere. This same trick can be used with other accessories like gloves or sunglass cases.
4. Hide your tech.
If your home router needs to be in an open space, you can disguise it in a magazine holder. Just make sure that it has plenty of ventilation so it won't overheat.
5. Keep documents handy.
Repurpose the holders to act as mini filing stations for those key documents you need to keep on hand.
6. Elevate your printer.
Wooden holders can be decorated and used to prop up your home printer so you don't lose the surface space for storage. I love how readily accessible the paper is!
7. Create a simple corner shelf.
Great for small spaces! This floating storage unit wouldn't look out of place in the living room as a substitute end table if your couch is near the corner like mine is.
8. Stack with blocks for a kids room side table!
If you want to put more time into it, try painting the outsides fun, bright colors, and lining the insides with whimsical patterns — or vice versa!
9. Keep paper supplies sorted.
If you have a bunch of different kinds of paper to keep tidy, you can stack multiple holders. Alternate the direction for a modern look.
10. Add compartments to larger containers.
This gift wrapping station cleverly uses magazine holders to separate bows and tissue paper within the same basket.
11. Organize those piles of yarn.
The narrowness of magazine holders makes them a great alternative to baskets and bins for your balls of yarn. Their openness means you can always see what you're looking for without having to dig.
12. Corral those flip-flops.
Much like bunnies, flip-flops tend to multiply in the summer months. Keep them from piling up on the floor of your closet by lining up a few magazine holders.
13. Sort your mail.
A couple of holders mounted near the door can prevent those bills, fliers, and letters from spreading throughout the house.
14. Store modern magazines.
Just because your favorite publications have gone digital doesn't mean you can't use the holder to keep them stored. I love this trick for giving your tablets a home.
