'Boy Meets World' Then And Now

'Boy Meets World' Then And Now

It's not often that a show so perfectly lines up with your real life. However, when I was a kid, it seemed like Boy Meets World did just that. Cory Matthews and the gang seemed to be going through all the same type of stuff that most kids my age were going through too. It was uncanny! But what does the cast of my favorite childhood show do now? Let's take a look.

SHAREif you thought Mr. Feeny was the best!

1. THEN

Cory Matthews was the show's protagonist and a real HOOT. He was always cracking viewers up with his antics.

NOW

Ben Savage still plays Cory today, but now he's a TV dad! Girl Meets Worldsees Cory passing on all the things he picked up in the original series to his own kids.

2. THEN

Eric Matthews was Cory's older brother. Though they got into arguments like any pair of siblings, Eric was always there for his little bro.

NOW

Recognize this guy? Eric Matthews, or Will Friedle in real life has continued to work with Disney in various voice roles and also appears in a guest role on Girl Meets World.

3. THEN

Shawn Hunter was Cory's cool best friend. The girls loved him and he basically lived at Cory's house.

NOW

Rider Strong has starred in various films since the end of the series, but fans were PUMPED when he returned to Girl Meets World as Shawn.

4. THEN

Topanga was Cory's love interest throughout the entire series. Thought they had their ups and downs, every viewer knew they'd end up getting married.

NOW

Danielle Fishel still plays Topanga on Girl Meets World. Her and Cory are happier than ever – and so are the fans.

5. THEN

Mr. Feeny was Cory's neighbor AND teacher. He was basically a guardian angel if you ask me – he always had the best advice and cared deeply for the Matthews.

NOW

William Daniels sure has aged, but that just means he's even wiser in his role as Mr. Feeny on Girl Meets World.

6. THEN

Alan Matthews was Cory's father. He was always there for his family and always made sure they did the right thing.

NOW

William Russ has continued to act since the end of Boy Meets World. He can be seen on shows like The Sopranos, NCISand The Mentalist. Oh, and of course Girl Meets World.

7. THEN

Amy was Cory's sweet heart of a mother. She was kind, nurturing and always looking out for her kids with the help of her husband Alan.

NOW

After the show ended Betsy Randle appeared on several other sitcoms in smaller roles. However it was hard for anyone to imagine her as anything other than Cory's mom.

8. THEN

NOW

Lindsay Ridgeway went on to perform in musicals and other TV shows after her time as Morgan Matthews came to an end. Today you can often see her singing the national anthem for the NHL's Los Angeles Kings.

9. THEN

Remember Minkus?! He was Cory's classmate in earlier episodes. He was a huge geek and ultimately Cory and Shawn's rival.

NOW

Always a fan favorite, the world was beyond excited when Lee Norris announced that he would reprise his character on Girl Meets World.

Chrissy Teigen Rocks These Beauty Trends Like Nobody's Business

Chrissy Teigen Rocks These Beauty Trends Like Nobody's Business

Chrissy Teigen is the funniest celeb in Hollywood. I love how she's always up for a good time, she's always down to be silly and she's never afraid to be herself. Plus, have you seen her Twitter? She's savage when it comes to slaying those internet trolls. But one thing Chrissy doesn't get enough credit for is how she looks flawless at every single red carpet event. She's always up to date about the beauty trends and manages to incorporate them in her look.

1.  Contour

Chrissy always looks like her cheekbones have been sculpted out by Michelangelo himself. I mean, it also helps that she was born with perfect bone structure!

2. Highlight

Chrissy always looks like she's glowing on the red carpet, and that's due to the highlight she's wearing on the top of her cheekbones.

3. Bronzed and glowing body.

How does Chrissy's whole body seem to be glowing at events? She uses a body bronzer!

4. Beachy waves

One of Chrissy's go-to looks is definitely having beautiful, bouncy, beachy waves. It looks good for a casual day out and for a glamorous red carpet event. Can I just have Chrissy's hair, please?

5. Slicked-back hair

She may love her hair down, but Chrissy also loves to show off her bone structure by keeping her hair back in a slick bun. She does this when she's running errands and when she wants to get dolled up. I love how chic this look is!

Leave a COMMENTand tell us which beauty trends you'd like to see Chrissy rocking!

There Are Two Possible Reasons Why You Shiver When You Pee

There Are Two Possible Reasons Why You Shiver When You Pee

There's nothing quite like going to the washroom and taking a pee. For some reason, it seems to feel like the most amazing thing ever. You're just going with the flow and cleansing yourself of all that extra water, lightening yourself up, and hitting a whole new level of relaxation. If you're anything like me, however, you experience a weird phenomenon that scientists refer to as "post-micturition convulsion syndrome." What could I possibly be talking about?

If you know anyone that loves to pee, SHAREthis with them!

So, what is this mysterious "post-micturition convulsion syndrome?" It's just a fancy name for post-pee shivers.

It's a little more common for men than women, so if you're sitting and wondering why you've never experienced it, don't worry! No, it doesn't say anything about your health, either.

What's causing the shivers? Well, there isn't a 100% definitive answer, but there are two pretty solid explanations for it.

The first theory is that your body temperature is dropping.

Apparently, this happens because we're exposing parts of our body that are kept warm. When we expose our hidden parts to the cold air, we're overcome by a chill. Alternatively, the warm urine leaving our body also lowers our body temperature!

The other possibility is that it's a reflex of the autonomic nervous system (woo hoo, more jargon!).

Basically, this means that it's an unconscious reaction to peeing. It's the same as how we close our eyes when we sneeze. If you shiver when you pee, it's because you're either cooling down or it's an involuntary response (or magic)!

Do you know anyone that shivers when they pee? Don't forget to SHARE this with them!

10 X-Rays Of Pregnant Animals Will Make You Glad You're Human

10 X-Rays Of Pregnant Animals Will Make You Glad You're Human

A typical pregnancy lasts about 40 weeks. That's a long freaking time.

You get large, it's hard to sleep, and you pee when you sneeze (something that doesn't go away even after you've given birth). Why do we do it?

Oh right, babies!

Also, literally every species on earth does it, and some of them have it way worse than we do. So, in case you are still harboring ill-wishes towards the OB/GYN who wasn't yours but happened to be on call and ask you at the least opportune time whether med students could witness your birth (not cool, clearly nothing is worth caring about mid-contraction but you most definitely would not have consented to 13 children with clipboards ogling your bajingo two weeks ago) just remember, it could have been SOOOO much worse, but it wasn't because you are human.

Cat

Kittens are adorable, but if you've ever held one you know they can't control their itty-bitty razor-sharp claws, and they squirm like crazy. Wouldn't want a whole bunch of those hanging out for months inside my belly.

Plus, the idea of that many births and no epidural?

Be thankful you are not a pregnant cat. That's all I have to say.

Snake

Probably doesn't seem legit because you, like me, might wonder, "don't snakes lay eggs?" Well, apparently, Boa constrictors and green anacondas "give birth to live young with no eggs involved at any stage of development." Because obviously there has to be some sort of natural correlation between the deadliness of the snake and the creepiness of the birth.

This is both terrifying and disgusting.

When you have your own little bundle of human joy you can't wait to hold it! This I wouldn't be able to wait to get away from.

Muntjac deer

Muntjac deer are smaller than your average deer and "Britain's most dangerous and destructive deer," which sounds hilarious because they're adorable but sneaky little things and sometimes called Barking Deer because they bark like dogs!

Muntjac deer gestate for seven months (jealous!)

And they have no breeding season so they'll have kids any time of the year — just like people. But with bony little limbs and hooves, I wouldn't trade even for two months less of pregnancy.

Raccoon

So raccoon's aren't exactly everybody's favorite animal.

But their babies are sure cute!

They feel like brillo pads and they smell like garbage, but they're still cute.

Turtle

While this image is pretty amazing, remember that it would suck to be a turtle, and she's going to have five little ones who move even slower than your toddler who wants to get his shoes on all by himself.

It's like she knows.

Run, turtle, run!

Dog

This Alaskan Malamute was carrying a much larger litter than the typical five or six puppies. Had this been taken with a regular veterinary x-ray only a few would have been seen, but luckily this was taken with a digital x-ray machine.

The same face I would make if I had more than one fetus at a time.

But then again, puppies!

Guinea Pig

I had a guinea pig as a child. They're not exactly the most fun pets. This x-ray basically sums them up.

They're awkward.

They pee on you every time you pick them up. Their bodies were not well designed for much of anything at all. And they smell horrible.

Cute fuzzy face, though.

Kiwi bird

This egg takes up basically the entire bird. Everyone who sees this is probably thinking the exact same thing: "Above is an x-ray of a pregnant kiwi. I think it's pretty clear that the bird can't eat, drink, poop, or even breathe while that monster is in the pipe. It's science."

Thank goodness this bird only has one at a time.

For one thing, they literally could not fit another one in there, but really, it looks like it can barely manage flying solo (get it? no wings!) nevermind while parenting.

Tiger Shark

Yes, technically this is not an X-ray. It's a sonogram — the only sonogram — of shark babies.

And that's good enough.

Seriously, I think we can all just be satisfied with that — there is no need to go back and ever try to get another one. Way too dangerous!

Elephant

As if you needed reasons to prefer being pregnant with a human baby over being pregnant with an elephant baby:

1. Elephants are pregnant for 22months!

2. Baby African elephants weigh 200 lb. at birth!

3. Elephants give birth every two to four years from the time they are 20 years old until they are 50!

That doesn't mean we can't love them!

Just because I'd never want to birth a baby elephant certainly doesn't mean I'd never want to cuddle one!
