With today's busy lives, we don't have the time for elaborate baking adventures, but still appreciate home-baked delights straight from the oven. Enter ice cream bread. It's amazingly easy, subtly sweet, and begs to be served warm slathered with nutella. This is so easy to make that any level of baker can make this without screwing it up. The best part is that it's completely customizable. The ice cream flavors that you can use are totally up to you. Strawberry? Sure! Mint chocolate chip? Yum! Double Chocolate? Double yes! AND you can step up your game by stirring in whatever mix-ins you desire. Chocolate chips, nuts, candy, sprinkles, coconut shavings...if you can dream it, you can add it. This basically means that you have a never-ending supply of absurdly simple dessert breads that you can whip up with next to no effort. Let Diply show you how to make this crazy easy two-ingredient ice cream bread that is going to become your new favorite recipe.

What you'll need:

- 2 cups of any flavour of ice cream, melty and soft
- 1 1/4 cups self rising flour
- mix-ins (optional and SO fun!)

The method:

Put your melty ice cream in a bowl. Mix your flour in. If you're using mix-ins (and I highly recommend it), stir those in. Pour batter into a greased cake pan. Feel free to add in more sprinkles. Bake for 35 minutes in a 350° oven. Let your house fill with the heavenly smell of freshly baked dessert bread. You can serve this with a scoop of ice cream, or slathered in butter, Nutella, peanut butter, or jam.

This was made with cake batter ice cream (yummmm), but any flavor will work. What kind would YOU use? Comment below!
