Get The Grand Tour Of One Woman's Tiny Apartment

I'm sure everyone has stayed in an apartment that was less than desirable. Maybe the neighbors were too loud, or maybe an army of ferocious raccoons attacked you every time you tried to put out the garbage. Sure, the apartment wasn't perfect, but at the end of the day, it provided you with a bed, and in time, maybe you even started to think of it as your home.

One New York City woman has made the most out of her "interesting" apartment. Felice Cohen, a resident of one of the world's most expensive real estate markets in Manhattan's Upper West Side, opted for something a little smaller when she was searching on Kijiji. In a neighborhood where rent can go as high as $3000 per month, Felice pays a mere $700. How? Her charming apartment is approximately 90 square feet — about the size of a large walk-in closet.

As you'll see, Felice has made the most of her tiny home and has some genius storage tips that any homeowner could use. Let's take a look at this apartment that you'll have to see to believe.

Ready for the grand tour?

This is the majority of Felice's living and work area. As you can see, organization and storage go a long way in this cute and compact pad thanks to the use of shelves and labelled boxes.

Speaking of organization...

To maximize the space in her apartment, Felice removed the bulky closet doors and replaced them with curtains. This is a chic alternative to outdated sliding doors and is a really great solution for a nursery (no fingers trapped in the door!).

In case you were wondering if this place has a bathroom...

Yes! It does! The bathroom is almost the same size as the rest of the apartment and has all the amenities. It can be a bit of a tight squeeze, but Felice makes the most out of it.

Bedtime!

A loft bed accessible by a ladder is the last feature of this quirky apartment. Felice admits that sleeping there her first night freaked her out a little, but now she thinks of it as her cozy place to relax.
