Everyone's been in a tight spot when it comes to finding awesome home remedies to clean clothes that are stained or damaged. Whether you want to clean up your favorite top after you spilled something on it or you're trying to figure out how to spice up a pair of ripped jeans, these hacks are for you!

1. Remove Red Wine Stains From Cotton Clothes.

It's happened to all of us, whether we're at a wedding or relaxing with our crew. Instead of tossing out that top, all you need is a little paper towel and some club soda and it'll be fine!

2.  Use A Sharpie To Cover Bleach Stains.

Bleach stains are the worst. There's no two ways about it. Whoever says they aren't that bad simply doesn't know what they're talking about. Color over them with a Sharpie to make them disappear!

3. Forget The Fitting Room And Learn How To Try On New Pants Like A Pro!

By wrapping the waistband of a pair of pants around your neck, you can see if they will fit your waist. If the ends of the waistband won't meet each other behind your head, the odds are they are too small for you!

4. Instead Of Tossing Your Ripped Jeans To The Curb, Learn How To Make Them Rock.

Wearing tights under your ripped jeans is an easy way to make them hot all over again. Choose jeans with a wild design to flex your style and accent the denim. It'll really make your look stand out.

5. Don't Make Lemons Into Lemonade! Let Lemon Juice Remove Your Pit Stains.

Who knew one squirt of this item in your fridge could make a lifetime of difference to your clothes? A little of this magic stuff under the armpits of your shirts before you wash them could save them!

6. Use Baby Wipes To Remove Deodorant Stains.

Instead of tossing your favorite shirt in the wash, bring it back from the dead by removing stains with baby wipes! A few simple applications of these little bad boys and your shirt will look new.

7. Quit Letting Your Buttons Run Wild With A Little Clear Nail Polish.

Even if you sew them on the right way a million times, some buttons just don't want to stay put! After you sew that sucker back on there, slap on a little clear nail polish to keep it in place. Problem solved!

8. Remove Red Lipstick Stains In A Snap!

No matter how it got there, getting rid of red lipstick stains is a pain. Put some hairspray on there, let it breathe for a moment, gently dab it, and then throw it in the wash on its own. Your clothes will come out as good as new!

9.  Remove Stains From Leather.

After brushing your boots off, wipe them down with soap and hot water. Then, mix one part vinegar to one part water in a spray bottle and spray them down. Once you wipe down your boots with a dry cloth, rub in some conditioner and spray them with a waterproof mixture.

10. De-Pill Your Clothes With A Razor.

Get rid of all those pesky little scraps in a snap. All you need to do is wash your clothes, run a razor over them, and swipe them with a lint roller.

11. Roll Your Pants The Right Way When You Wear Your Boots.

Stop wondering how your jeans wound up getting frayed to shreds every time you wore your favorite cute boots with them. Instead of tucking them inside your boots, cuff them and save the day!

12. Use A Hair Straightener To Iron Your Shirt Collar.

You don't have time to worry about wrinkled collars when you're trying to look your best. Bust out that hair straightener and your collar will be looking fly in the blink of an eye.

13. Slice And Dice Old T-Shirts Into Killer New Tank Tops.

Spin those old t-shirts into gold with a pair of scissors! Put a tank top that fits you well over the shirt you want to redesign, outline the shape of the neckline and the strap width, and cut the t-shirt along the lines you drew. Finally, use two t-shirt scraps to tie the straps together, twisting the back until the fit is perfect — just for you!

14. Kill Any Odors On Your Denim Clothes With Vodka. Is There Anything It Can't Do?!

Get a clean spray bottle and mix one shot of vodka with three drops of essential oil and some warm water. Spray your jeans or denim vest with this magic elixir, let it sit overnight, and you're golden.

15. Breathe New Life Into Your Favorite Leather Shoes With Moisturizer!

That's correct — you did, in fact, read that right, ladies and gentlemen. Instead of springing all of your extra bucks for leather polish, put your favorite moisturizer on your old leather shoes! They'll shine as if they're brand new.

16. Fall In Love With Your Wardrobe All Over Again!

Don't let everyday life get in the way of sparkling like fireworks on the Fourth of July! Stop worrying about the old life your clothes used to have and work it, girl, because you know you're worth it.

It might be beneficial to schedule a biannual closet clean-out to determine what you actually wear and love, and what items you could donate to your local clothing drive.

17. Create Double Hangers With Soda Can Tabs.

By hooking of the tabs to one of your existing closet hangers, you will be able to hook another hanger in this open tab hole!

This is a great tip to maximize storage space in your closet. You could also pre-plan outfits by hanging matching pieces up together or using the second hanger to hold accessories like belts and scarves.

18. Rig A Key Chain To Help Prevent Your Zipper From Dipping.

If you have a pair of jeans that has a zipper that comes undone often, hook a key chain onto the end of the zipper and secure it to your jeans button.

Now, you won't have to worry about your fly coming undone and creating a totally embarrassing social situation.

19. Boost Drawer Space And Organization By Stacking Clothes Differently.

Instead of haphazardly stacking folded clothes in your drawers, place them in neat vertical rows. Not only will you use your space more optimally, you will be able to see all the clothes you have available in your drawer.

I also find that with this hack, my clothes tend to get less wrinkled. Fewer wrinkles mean less ironing and that's always a plus to me!

20. Hide Bra Straps With A Paper Clip.

One day, I am convinced that there will be the PERFECT bra. The straps won't fall down, the cups will actually fit, and you won't have to worry about hiding the straps when you want to wear a racerback tank.

Until that bra is invented, a paper clip will get those bra straps in line when you want to wear a cute summer tank top.

21. Make Your Own Non-Slip Hangers.

Am I the only one who hates those little hanger straps sewn inside tops? I know they're helpful but I feel like I have to constantly hide them when I'm wearing the shirt. Now, there's a better way to keep your clothes on the hanger.

Wrap rubber bands around the end of a hanger so that your silky shirts and dresses won't slip off.

22. Use A Shower Cap For Your Shoes When You Travel.

Most people hate packing. There's deciding what to bring, attempting to fit it all in your suitcase without going over the weight limit, and then leaving half of your items at home because your suitcase won't close.

Here's one tip that will make packing a bit easier. A shower cap will keep your shoes together in your luggage and prevent your clothes from getting dirty. It's a real win-win hack.

23. Use Pool Noodles To Keep Your Boots Upright.

No one likes floppy boots! Pick up a few pool noodles from the dollar store and cut them to size so that your boots will always be standing straight.

Not only will you avoid any creases or wrinkles in tall boots but it should also help you save some space on your shoe rack.

24. Try The Ultimate Bra Hack For Backless Dresses.

Sometimes tape just doesn't cut it to keep the girls in place. Try sewing an old bra with the clasps removed to the inside of your backless dress. Ahhh... finally! The support that everyone wants and needs.

There you have it!

If you give even a few of these hacks a try, you're bound to reduce some stress in your life.
