Meth Addict With Model Good Looks Is At It Again

SHARE
Life can be a seemingly difficult thing. We're constantly being tested from a young age. People attempt to measure us based on grades while we're growing up, which ultimately determines what schools we can go to for post-secondary. While it's not always necessary to go to college, the highest chances of success come from getting a degree. If you mess up along the way, you could be left struggling to even get into a college, which could make a huge impact on your life, assuming you can even afford to pay for it. For some, the stress can be overwhelming.

For some, that could mean turning to drugs as a way of coping.

Sadly, drug addiction can be a slippery slope.

Remember this guy? His name is Matthew Medlin.

He was hailed as the "meth addict with model good looks," though this referred to his pre-addiction looks. Well, he's back.

Only 32 years-old, his life has been going in a downward spiral for a while.

A victim of meth addiction and homelessness, Medlin's life has been riddled with crime.

This was due to a series of bad decisions and a struggle.

Back in January, when he first took the internet by storm, he was arrested after a four-hour stand-off with the police.

He even injected himself with meth and told the police he had been awake for 26 hours, though they eventually tased him and took him to a hospital.

Well, he was recently let out of jail and quickly went back to his old ways. This time, however, he did some pretty crazy stuff.

It was reported that he was assaulting a woman, so police showed up to the area. Officers found he had damaged three cars prior to jumping on the police cruiser.

He was eventually arrested for causing damage to vehicles, licking a man's face, and attempting to bite a police officer. This arrest brings him to a total of 16 arrests since 2002.

In hopes of helping Medlin, the judge sentenced him to 60 days in jail, three years of probation, and 120 days of both drug and mental rehabilitation.

Hopefully Medlin will be able to make a proper recovery and move away from his life of crime.
