This Lindsay Lohan Conspiracy Is Just More Proof Twitter Is Crazy

SHARE
It seems to be the season for outlandish celebrity conspiracy theories. Folks apparently wanted more after they heard Avril Lavigne was replaced by a look-alike years ago, and another Twitter user was more than happy to deliver.

And frankly, it's about time. All that Illuminati talk was getting really old.

This time, we're gonna learn the truth (sorry, had to suppress a chuckle there) about the twin that Disney doesn't want you to know Lindsay Lohan had. That's why the movie she's supposedly in is still freely available. Yup, makes sense.

But as snarky as I'm being about this, you better believe I still wanted to hear it. So let's take a trip down the rabbit hole.

1. You already know Lindsay, but it's time to meet Kelsey.

Yup, Kelsey is supposed to be her identical twin and there are "noticeable differences" between them. Uh...such as?

'Cause other than the fact that one of the photos on the right is slightly more zoomed in than the other, I'm not really seeing it.

2. Anyway, when the idea to remake The Parent Trap came about, casting was a no-brainer.

No word on which twin had to pretend to be British for that one.

3. But it seems that Kelsey hadn't quite caught the acting bug when the movie wrapped.

While her sister went on to become the star we know and love today, Kelsey apparently just wanted a normal high school life. Go Seahawks!

4. Even so, she was still cool with joining her twin to celebrate Walt Disney's 100th birthday.

But tragically, it was a trap because what the house of mouse allegedly had in store for her wasn't quite so magical.

5. Suddenly, according to the theory, Kelsey vanished completely.

But what was Disney's game here? Did they decide there could be only one Lohan? Or did they take it personally when Kelsey turned down a film career?

Like, did Mickey Mouse corner her in a dark alley and say "oh ho, you're out when wesay you're out?" Yeah, I think it's that one.

6. We may never know, but something devious was definitely afoot.

The story goes that Disney started denying Lindsay ever had a twin and gave her parents millions of dollars in hush money.

So what proof do we have that this happened? Who stepped forward and blew the whistle on this sordid affair? Uh...well, the thing is that—oh, hey, I almost forgot to tell you something else!

7. When Lindsay was shooting a thriller in 2006, things got too real.

The movie was about a woman investigating a crime involving her long-lost twin.

According to the theory, the personal problems Lindsay would soon go through could be traced back to the trauma of having to relive her twin's disappearance. That's certainly...creative.

8. So if all this is true, why did they need actor Erin Mackey to play Lindsay's body double in The Parent Trap?

Like, if they already had Kelsey, why would they need to put Lindsay's face on her body, right?

While that's certainly interesting, I have the perfect piece of evidence to explain it. The funny thing is I left in in the car, so...if you'll just excuse me...
