I'm a pessimist, which by default makes optimists my mortal enemies. I hate on them a lot, and disagree with almost everything they say. However, I believe they have a valuable place on this earth. Their positivity is necessary to counterbalance all the negative shit that comes out of my mouth — which is a lot. So I welcome optimism as an important perspective. If we only heard about how bad everything was, nothing would ever get done. Therefore, it's an evil I must live with. And to show my growing respect for the competing viewpoint, I have compiled this list of optimists.
