If you're wondering if these pictures are touched up with photoshop or using double exposure, you're wrong. These pictures use subjects that have been hand painted to blend in with their surroundings. Johanes Stoetter is the artist behind these images with a talent for transforming people into other objects and animals. Some of these paintings take as long as five months to simply plan out and eight hours to complete.
The majority of his paintings hide people so well that the eye is fooled into what it's seeing. It becomes a sort of optical illusion in a sense. The "frog" image on the third page is one of those optical illusions. You'll see why.
It's absolutely mind-blowing how the subjects in these photos are so well camouflaged into their surroundings. They become the animal and the inanimate object. They are one.
This is the "frog" painting mentioned in the first page. How many people do you think were used to create this image? There are actually five people blended in to form the frog. Unbelievable!
