This Online Conspiracy Theory Suggests Beyoncé Died Last Year. Do You Believe It?

Beyoncé is on top of the music world right now with the release of Lemonade. Really though, Queen Bey has been dominating the scene for years. The consistency of her music might make this hard to believe, but there's a theory making the rounds that Beyoncé is actually dead! 

It might sound ridiculous, but let's take a look.

We all know the basics on Bey.

She was born in Houston and was a part of Destiny's Child. She and Jay-Z (oh, and Blue Ivy) are now basically the first family of music.

They're a high-profile couple, so weird rumors have been swirling for years.

Have you heard the one about them being members of the Illuminati? Well, today we're going to be discussing something way weirder - the suggestion that Bey actually died years ago and has been replaced by an imposter.

Nonsense, you say. You'd know if she'd been replaced.

If you ask this guy though, there's no debate. Bey out, imposter in.

Maybe the theory has legs - I mean, just check out this video.

If this isn't evidence for the existence of clones, I don't know what is. What's she doing?

Maybe the best way to test this is by looking at photos.

Here's Beyoncé in 1998. Does she look any different? Keep in mind, the pic is nearly two decades old.

Here she is in 2014, after she was apparently replaced.

Obviously her hair changes all the time, but she looks pretty similar.

Maybe we should listen to someone who seems to have it all figured out.

There's the argument. I'm going to go ahead and call "hoax" on this one.
