12 Times The World Said 'Goodnight, Supermoon'

The supermoon seemed really cool, and I know I had really high hopes for it. I was expecting a giant moon where I could literally see all the craters and confirm for a fact if it is actually made of cheese or not. But when the moon came up, it was just pretty much the same as it is every time I see the moon. Bummer. 

Turns out, I am not the only one who felt this way and there were a number of people who were outraged by the so-called supermoon.

1. Well, the supermoon was on November 14. 

And this was what we all expected to see. Beautiful, right? 

2. Well, it turns out for many that wasn't the case. 

And people are outraged enough that they have taken to making memes. 

3. And blaming their phone for how underwhelming it was.

Because it wasn't that great, was it? 

4. Busting out the measuring tape.

Yeah, sure, it's a lot bigger...

5. Seriously, though! 

I feel like we were set up for failure. The moon didn't look that different. 

6. So this was pretty much the whole world yesterday. 

Outraged. 

7. But some people decided to have a bit of fun with it. 

Cute little mice. 

8. Or realized there may be a different truth behind the supermoon.

I would believe anything at this point. 

9. Some people tried to stop the memeing.

But it was no use. 

10. The damage was done. 

It's what the people wanted. 

11. Some people took matters into their own hands. 

They needed to see the supermoon! 

12. And it worked well enough for them.
