13 Final Tweets Of Dead Celebrities

In today's day and age, literally anybody who's anybody has a Twitter account, and celebrities are no exception. In fact, thanks to social media platforms like Twitter, modern day celebs are even more influential than they were in the past. But something has recently crossed my mind that has kind of disturbed me. When we die, what will happen to our social media accounts? Will they just continue to float around the internet as constant reminders of the all the people we've lost? 

Upon this thought, I decided to lurk the profiles of celebs whom we've tragically lost to see what the last thing they tweeted was. Here's what I found.

1. Paul Walker

The late star of The Fast And Furiousfilm series last used Twitter to promote his upcoming movie. 

2. Joan Rivers

The iconic female comedian finished her Twitter career with a joke. 

3. Whitney Houston

The pop singer and diva confirmed her online legitimacy to a fan before passing away in 2012. 

4. Billy Mays

The infomercial personality left us with a story about a near-death experience. He died the very next day. 

5. Amy Winehouse

Amy's final tweet is somewhat confusing. 

6. Robin Williams

The legendary comedian used his online influence to give his daughter one of the sweetest birthday wishes ever. The full message on Instagram reads: "#tbt and Happy Birthday to Ms. Zelda Rae Williams! Quarter of a century old today but always my baby girl. Happy Birthday @zeldawilliams Love you!"

7. Cory Monteith

The former Gleestar used his account to ask the real questions. 

8. Harris Wittels 

The late comedian was responsible for many of the best jokes in Parks And Recreation. Many of the show's main stars used their social media to pay respects to Harris, but have you seen his last tweet?

9. Michael Clarke Duncan

The star of such movies as The Green Mile and Talladega Nights passed away in September of 2012. His final tweet was an excited reaction to a recent UFC fight. 

10. Robin Gibb

The Bee Gees member was using his social media profiles to promote his upcoming album. Sadly, he passed away just over a month later. 

11. Ryan Dunn

When Jackass star Ryan Dunn passed away in a car accident in 2011, it seemed like images of the horrific wreck was all over the news. Today, his memory lives on in the projects of his former co-stars. 

12. Scott Weiland

The former Velvet Revolver front man passed away of a drug overdose in 2015, but not before posting about one his most memorable moments as a rock star. 

13. Roger Ebert

Legendary film critic Roger Ebert not only tweeted until his death, but he also continued to review films.
