SHARE
From people using garbage to create sculptures to 3D street art graffiti, art can be everywhere. And so in comes Luis Hernan who started a project titled, Digital Ethereal. The project uses Wi-Fi signals. Using his Android app, Kirlian Device mobile, Wi-Fi signal strength shows up in different colors. Hernan then uses long-exposure photography to create the captivating visuals you see below.

Check it out, and share with your friends.

1. Spirit Photographs

Take a look at that Wi-Fi strength. Red is high intensity and blue is low intensity.

2. Electromagnetic Signals

The project was started because of digital technologies, and the invisible infrastructure it created.

3. People

When we walk around, do we ever think about the invisible signals all around us?

4. Digital Ethereal

Using the app and long exposure photography, you can get creative with the signals around you. No more paintbrushes!

Hernan creates different shapes by moving the device around his body.

10. Your Home

You can get creative anywhere, as long as you have your phone and a camera.

11. The First Step

Creating images was just the first step for Hernan, now he's going to explore representing wireless signals through sound.

12. Design Exploration Of Wireless

As our devices grow in their many uses, it's absolutely cool to see how they spark creativity. How would you express yourself with your device?
