Poach Eggs Perfectly Every Time With This Trick

I LOVE poached eggs. If I'm looking for a light dinner, sometimes I do a warm, roasted veggie salad with a poached egg or two on top. The yolk runs down and makes a luxurious and rich sauce. Mmmm. BUT anyone who has poached eggs knows that they can be a pain to make. Sometimes the yolks break. Sometimes the whites separate and make a mess. It can easily be a nightmare. The whirlpool trick can help, but if you're trying to make more than one a time, then that can be frustrating too. This trick will give you perfect poached eggs every time without effort or fuss. What you'll need:

- mug
- plastic wrap
- 1/4 tsp olive oil
- egg

The method: 

Put your plastic wrap on your mug and add your olive oil. Spread it around a bit. Crack your egg onto the plastic wrap. Gather up your cling wrap. Twist it up and tie it in a knot. Place it in simmering water for 3-4 minutes. Remove the egg carefully and unwrap. Done! You have a beautifully poached egg.
