The Bacon Toaster Is Here And Mornings Will Never Be The Same Again

SHARE
We all know that bacon makes everything better: pancakes, waffles, chocolate, Caesars, the list goes on. But can we make bacon better? Yes, yes we can.

At my house, we bake our bacon in the oven – partly because it's easy, partly because it doesn't leave a huge mess, and partly because we can say we're bakin' bacon. Seriously, though, it's generally a convenient way to make up a big batch. The only problems are that the bacon can go from raw to burned awfully quickly, and it sits in a pool of its own grease, making it almost, almost too greasy for me.

But the Bacon Express might just change all that.

There are many ways to cook bacon, but until the Bacon Express came along, none of them were idiot-proof.

And considering I'm in before my first coffee, cooking bacon is downright hazardous. Best case scenario, the bacon gets overcooked and I end up cutting my mouth on delicious shards of meat. But even a sleep-deprived zombie can make a decent slice of bacon in this beauty.

With the Bacon Express, any harried, half-awake person can cook six slices to perfection with an absolute minimum of thought or effort.

Which is convenient first thing in the morning. All you have to do is open the shiny toaster door and drape the strips over the middle, then adjust the dial to your desired preference, and wait. That's it.

Because it cooks vertically, all the grease and fat drips off as it sizzles.

No more nasty puddles of fat to congeal in your frying pan – there's a slide-out drip tray for that.

It's like eating bacon for the first time all over again.

And it's about time!
