Scrolling on social media, I can spot two engagement posts, wedding photos, and either an ultrasound or newborn photoshoot before even finishing my morning coffee.
When did everyone become adults? Like, obvi we're all adulting here, but I didn't realize everyone was taking it so seriously. Honestly, it has lowkey been freaking me out. Personally, I would consider myself to be halfway into adulthood, like a semi-adult. Does anyone else relate?
Yay! I'm a mature adult! On second thought, no thanks.
What fun is that? I'll never go on this vacation again, YOLO! Gotta live it up while I can, not that I'm notgonna be taking vacays like this with the squad when we're old and wrinkly.
Ahhhhh so that explains me having no friends.
Can there be, like, clubs for adults? Like we had in college, that helped us make friends? Oh wait, they do? I just hate everyone? Oh, okay then. This whole adulting thing is great.
Y'all should be thankful I even took a shower this morning.
Who needs to put in all that effort? For what? Adulting is hard, okay? How am I supposed to deal with all of it andkeep up a decent appearance?
Can I please have a full refund on this?
Apologies, thought that I wanted it but once I tried it out, I quickly realized it was notfor me. Thanks so much!
Wait, when did everyone become an adult-adult?
I thought we were still in the beginning stages, like denial? Pretending it doesn't exist? Has everyone else embraced this whole adulting thing? Wow am I far behind.
There is a mutual understanding here.
High school? Forget it. But, in college, people fall asleep anywhere and everywhere, look like trash, and clearly do not have their life together, but that's okay, because no one does. #FakeAdultsForLife
I realize that I'm reaching that point in life where I'll be force to adult...soooooo I'm gonna stall as long as I can. #FakeAdultForLife
