She May Have A Rare Blood Disorder, But That Doesn't Keep This Little Girl From Singing

Childhood illness can be hard for a family, but little Leah Carroll just keeps singing. Now four, Leah was diagnosed with severe Congenital Neutropenia when she was only six months old. The disorder prevents her body from producing white blood cells, which are so important for keeping infections at bay.

It's fitting, then, that her favorite song is "Overcomer" by Mandisa!

After almost a year away from her family for treatment, Leah's mom Lindsay caught her grooving on video and shared it online, where it's been watched more than 30 million times.

"My daughter has overcome two bone marrow transplants," Lindsay wrote when she shared the video with Mandisa's official Facebook page, "She has spent the last 322 days away from her family and mostly in the hospital due to complications. However, she has the joy of the Lord and a love for music. 'Overcomer' is one of her all time favs! Someone suggested I share it with you personally! She is such a light to all she meets....I hope she brings a smile to your face, too!"

Mandisa was quick to share the video with her audience, spurring an outpouring of love and support for Leah.

Mandisa is a Grammy-winning gospel and contemporary Christian recording artist. She came to fame when she reached the Top 9 of the 2006 season of American Idol

When she shared the video, she had a message for her little fan: "Leah: You are an overcomer in the truest sense of the word!"

"Seeing the joy of the Lord on your sweet face inspired me so much. I'm praying for you, and believe that many of my friends on here will join me. Keep trusting Jesus, and fight on, precious one."

Watch her sing, and just try not to smile!

SHARE Leah's amazing video with your friends and family, and be sure to send your thoughts and prayers Leah's way.
