Watch A Crane Lifting A Crane That's Lifting A Crane... That's Also Lifting A Crane

When you look at some of the tools we've designed to build modern structures, you have to be amazed at how far we've come. The world we live in wouldn't be possible without bulldozers and excavators and steamrollers and cranes, and as we continue to build up and out, they're only going to get more important. So it's encouraging to see companies out there still innovating and pushing boundaries. Their work will help us build even bigger and better structures for the future.

For the most part, if you're not on a job site, you don't get to see and appreciate just how big and important some of those machines are. Just look at this incredible crane – sure it's big, but until you see it in action, you have little idea of how much it can accomplish. However, the company that made it found a memorable way to show off what it can do.

German heavy machinery maker Liebherr builds one of the biggest cranes out there, the LR 13000.

It's the kind of crane that's typically used in massive construction projects like power plants and refineries.

For a customer appreciation event, the folks at Liebherr decided to show off their biggest crane in a spectacular way: by lifting some of their other cranes with it.

Talk about a complicated stunt – seems like a stiff wind could really mess this up quickly.

Just to show off a little, not only did the LR 13000 lift all 1,400 tons of cranes, it also went for a crawl.

Check out a vid of this amazing lift below!
