Cute Possum Lives In Toilet Paper Dispenser

SHARE
There's a lot of great reasons to visit a national park. Whether you want to rough it on a campground, see some interesting wildlife or just take in a nice, natural environment, it's the right place to be.

And this is especially true if that national park is in Australia.

While there are a good number of dangerous animals roaming the outback, it's also home to some of the world's most uniquely beautiful wildlife.

But sometimes that wildlife can turn up in some unexpected places, as the staff of a park in Victoria found out.

Please SHARE this on Facebook and give your friends a nice surprise.

Welcome to Yarra Bend Park.

Here, you can see some Victoria's loveliest natural sights, including the Dights Falls.

And the Parks Victoria rangers tend to see a lot here.

After all, the Yarra Bend Park is home to some of the region's rarest species.

And the most special of all may be the gray-headed flying fox.

This endangered species has a permanent colony in the park that visitors can get a great view of.

Of course, you won't normally see any critters roaming in the toilet block.

But one night, that's exactly where the cleaning staff found a new little resident.

It turns out a cute little possum was living in the toilet paper dispenser.

As you can see, it made a nice little nest for itself between the rolls.

When staff put their find on Facebook, someone suggested they name it Quilton.

I didn't know what that meant either, but apparently it's an Australian toilet paper company.

And it looks like the little buddy picked a good place to live.

Because once the park staff found the possum, they gave it a new home.
