Make Foot Warmers Using Dollar Store Items

SHARE
There's nothing worse than being out on a lovely winter hike and being distracted by your icy, cold feet. You could be wearing the best hiking boots on the market and still fall victim to this common dilemma, and it can be a real bugger trying to warm them up. The next time you plan on heading out for a walk on a wintry day and want to avoid cold feet, you're going to want to remember the following hack!

What You Need

-Reflective sun shade

-Sharpie

-Scissors

Step 1

Start by removing the insole from your boot.

Step 2

Lay your insole face down onto your reflective sun shade.

Step 3

Trace around the insole onto the sun shade with a marker.

Step 4

Using a pair of scissors, cut out your outline.

Step 5

Place the reflector into your boot, and then place the original insole on top of it.

How It Works

The reflective insert works in two ways: it provides extra insulation from the cold, snowy ground, and also reflects the heat that your body produces back into your boot to keep everything nice and warm!
