People do all sorts of crazy things these days, but imagine just deciding one day "I'm going to dose my face in liquid nitrogen! Wow, what fun!" 

Well, that's exactly what Grant Thompson, who runs a YouTube channel called King of Random, decided to do — and without safety glasses, I might add!

Now, while some people might call this plain stupid, Thompson knew that the chemical wouldn't harm his face (don't worry, nothing gross happens), but instead it would prove just how friggin' cool science is!

Liquid Nitrogen is used for a variety of things, including computer coolant, treatment for removing unwanted skin and warts, and of course, ice cream!
