17 Ways To Use Leftover Easter Candy

SHARE
Easter has come and gone and you're sitting with small piles of chocolate and candies scattered about your house. And if you're like me, then you also hit the department store the day after Easter and stocked up on even MORE chocolate (not like you needed it) simply because it's 50% off and who can resist such temptations?! So there you are with chocolate and candy surrounding you and as the days pass by you're going to get sick of always snacking on these Easter treats as you go about your day. You're going to want to just get it all out of your house. When that happens, we've got your back. Here is a list of 17 ways to use up your leftover Easter candy to save your sanity. Share this with any other discount candy hoarders in your life that might be seriously regretting those purchases by now.

1. Science experiments

Have some fun with kids and place Peeps into glasses with different liquids and track their progress throughout a couple of days.

2. Peeps popcorn

Popcorn is a nice light snack with good crunch and texture. Coating this snack with the brightly colored peeps make it tasty and eye-catching.

3. Peeps s'more dip.

This is how I want to go. Eating this dip. It even has peanut butter.

4. Boozy peeps milkshake

The only thing difficult about this recipe is having to throw these cute little guys into the blender!

5. Chocolate face mask

There are a ton of benefits to using chocolate on your skin. Chop up those bunnies and eggs, take a look at this recipe, and give your skin a treat without the calories!

6. Peeps monkey bread

Monkey bread sounds cute already....add in bright pink peeps and you just upped the sweet and adorable factor.

7. Cadbury Creme Egg hot chocolate

These Easter staples make for a deliciously creamy chocolate beverage that will get you hooked instantly.

8. Creme egg pull-apart sweet rolls

These are like mini monkey bread cinnamon rolls stuffed with Creme Egg goodness. Does it get much better than that? Nope.

9. Creme Egg stuffed cake pops

What's better than a cake pop? A cake pop stuffed with the creamy delights that are known as Cadbury Creme Eggs. You're welcome.

10. Caramel Egg-stuffed croissants

...do I even need to say anything about this? Because...seriously. Mmmmmm.

11. Peeps mousse

Brilliant, amiright?

12. Brownies

All of those solid chocolate eggs and bunnies that you have can be chopped and used as chocolate in a classic fudgy brownie recipe. To step up your brownie game, chop extra chocolate and stir it into the batter before pouring into your pan. Double chocolate delight.

13. Creme Eggs ice cream

Why isn't this sold in stores at Easter time?!?! COME ON, CADBURY....GET ON THIS!

14. Edible Peeps play dough

Your kids are going to LOVE this. Something they can play with (with clean hands and surface, of course) and eat?! Yum! Fun!

15. Mini Egg Cake Dip

Dessert dips are life. Seriously.

16. Cookies with Mini Eggs

Chop up your mini eggs and sub them for chocolate chips in your favorite cookies recipe. The shells give a delightful crunchy texture to your cookies that will have you reaching in the cookie jar for seconds, thirds, and even fourths!

17. Peep sandwich cookies

To kick two candies in one treat, take those cookies you made above and put a Peep in between. Microwave them for a few seconds and squish them. Mmmmm.

Will you be using any of these this week to use up all of that leftover Easter candy? Which one(s) would you do? Post in the comments below! I'm going to be making the brownies and cookies.
