Wearing a bikini is no easy feat. With all of the pressure put on women to meet some unrealistic standards, it's no wonder that wearing a bikini to the beach is a stressful scenario for so many people. People are always told that they need to be thin or that they need to be chiseled. It's practically an endless battle with standards that are constantly changing. The most important thing is to feel comfortable in your own skin, whether it means being bigger or smaller (while keeping health in mind) than the "norm." Legs are an especially targetted body part for women. Having nice legs is held as the pinnacle of success when it comes to fitness standards. If you're one of the unlucky people who has been shamed into thinking there's something wrong with them, you can still change your legs in a HEALTHY way!
How do you go about that? It's actually really, really simple. The first method would be to make some lifestyle changes. Next time you reach for the box of cookies, you don't necessarily have to put them down. Instead, just limit yourself when it comes to the amount you're going to eat. Instead of three cookies, try to have one. Those cans of sugar soda or juice? Cut back on those, too. Try to incorporate more veggies into your diet as well. Veggies are generally a good inclusion because they have a low amount of calories, help to satisfy your hunger, and are generally loaded with nutrients. Another great way, and probably one of the best ways, would be to incorporate some strength training. That doesn't mean lifting 500 pounds or anything, but simply using some weights to push yourself.
