99-Year-Old Grandma Is Happy To Be Arrested And Cross It Off Her Bucket List

Do you have a list of things you want to accomplish before you kick the bucket? Maybe you want to visit a certain country, master a skill, or overcome a fear of sharks by swimming with them. All of those sorts things are what make up a bucket list. A 99-year-old lady in the Netherlands named Annie just got to check a big one off her list — and she's so happy about it!

Annie's list included a wish to "experience a police cell from within," so her niece enlisted the local police force to help.

Her niece got in touch with the police, asking if it would be possible for them to "arrest" Annie and let her sit in a cell for a bit. 

"You get many unusual requests with this profession. We thought it would be nice to do something special for Annie," they said.

The event took place in the Dutch town of Nijmegan-Zuid, and the story was posted on the police force's Facebook page. 

Officers made arrangements to come and "arrest" Annie, driving her to the station, handcuffing her, and locking her in a cell for a few minutes. 

She smiled the whole time!

I don't think I've ever seen someone so happy to be arrested!
