So Does This Mean I Have A Chance?

Whenever I'm faced with almost impossible odds, I can't help but think back to Dumb and Dumber. After hearing that there's about a one in a million shot that he'll get a date, Jim Carrey's character can only reply, "So you're saying there's a chance?"

Honestly, we all kind of find ourselves thinking like this sometimes. I mean, anyone who runs a lottery would be shaking in their boots if we ever stopped feeling this way and just stuck with the sure thing all the time.

Plus, we miss out on a lot of great experiences when we don't take any chances, which I'm pretty sure is what Yes Man was about.

Man, Jim Carrey apparently had a lot to teach us.

Only the real ones know what living on the edge truly looks like.

We're taught to fear and respect the escalator, but there's a difference between doing that and letting it know it has that power. We don't wanna do that — it can smell fear.

I guess I've heard worse lines than, "Hey girl, your ride have a bike rack?"

Also, saving the planet is pretty hot, right?

Haha, now we just need to find an employer like her and we're good.

Also, I always find it weird when interviewers ask stuff like that. Like, what do you want me to do, tell you about better career options than what you're offering? 

I don't know, I think this type of thinking is gonna get him somewhere.

Not with her, apparently, but I've got a good feeling about it all the same.

Like, when they have the sign, sure, I'm just being dumb. But sometimes they don't and you're just supposed to remember which way each door goes? Yeah, OK, buddy.

Just remember to leave enough imaginary seats for everyone.
