New York City is full of interesting characters you can meet in the streets. From the Naked Cowboy, to the living statues and movie characters, there is always someone you want to make sure you get a selfie with. Well, I've found my next selfie goal in Louboutina, a 5-year-old golden retriever who is happy to give a hug to everyone she meets.
This pretty dog is named after shoe designer Christian Louboutin, which feels appropriate for a Manhattan social-butterfly like herself.
She can be found most days sitting on a corner in the neighborhood of Chelsea.
Most often, she's on the corner of 5th Avenue and 17th Street.
Of course, you don't have to come to her for hugs. She'll also happily pause in her daily walks to hug or handshake passersby.
Since being featured on programs like The Today Show and Inside Edition, she's getting more hugs now than ever.
She even has fan art!
You know you want to see a few more pics of Louboutina giving hugs, so you should click to the next page. I found one of her as a puppy, too! It's so cute!
In a Throwback Thursday post, we got treated to how little Louboutina was looking in 2014.
Her pink sweater is so cute!
She's such a good hugger that even Instagram accounts devoted to cats can't help but show her off!
"chinatown_kitties," huh? Traitor! (Though I can't really blame you for it)
If you kneel down to her level, you'll get an even more epic hug!
But her classic pose is tight up against the legs.
If I get to NYC anytime soon, I'm definitely getting myself a hug!
SHARE Louboutina with all your friends!
