Girl Wants Cute Photo To Be Used In Place Of Mugshot After Escaping Prison

The world mainly has two kinds of people. There are good people and then there are bad people. Sure, someone can fall in between, but for the most part, you're skewed more towards one or the other. Generally speaking, when someone commits a crime, we have laws in place to punish them and to separate them from the rest of society, essentially quelling the chance of any harm coming to other people. As with all people, there are some that go to prison that aren't the smartest of the bunch, but there are also those that are extremely brave, too. This girl, well, she happens to be one of the bravest people in a while.

Meet Amy Sharp.

For the most part, Amy looks like your average young lady, right? Well, she is... Sort of.

Recently, Amy was imprisoned for "property offenses," so she was effectively locked up.

As with most people, Amy didn't want to stay in prison. What did she do? Well, she took things into her own hands.

Amy somehow escaped prison and the cops were unable to find her.

That's when they decided to take to the news outlets and put a call to the public, alerting them of her escape. Oh, they also posted some pretty unflattering mugshots.

No one wants to be plastered all over the internet with an unflattering picture, right? Well, Amy didn't, that's for sure.

That's when she decided to post on that very message, adding a picture and saying,
"can you use this photo, please and thank you 😇
Yours Truly,
Amy Sharp xx" 

Yup, she was brave enough to post and ask for a better picture to be used in place of her mugshot.

The best part of it all was that she ended up getting caught within a day of posting the picture, but hey, you win some you lose some.

Too bad she just increased her sentence! At least she had her moment of fame, right?
