Siri originally had a wicked sense of humor and was even capable of swearing, but these functions were filed off after the small company that created her was purchased by Apple.
However, she's also not the only game in town. At the moment, Amazon, Microsoft, and Google all have their own versions with Amazon calling their A.I. Alexa and Microsoft naming theirs after Cortana from Halo.
On Android, however, you're simply working with Google Now. But just because it doesn't have the kind of identity that Siri or Cortana boasts, that doesn't mean it's boring. In fact, Google Now is loaded with all sorts of hidden functions and in-jokes that you'd only know about if you and your phone shared the same kinds of surreal chats you'd have with Siri.
Today, we're going to save you all that hassle and let you know about 12 choice examples.
SHARE this on Facebook and give your friends some digital shortcuts.
1. You can use it to find out an actor's "bacon number."
This comes from the "Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon" game where you use an actor's past credits to find the shortest path to Kevin Bacon. However, instead of going through a web of obscure movies yourself, you can just say "OK Google, what's Bill Murray's bacon number?"
In this case, the answer is one because they were in Wild Things together.

2. Google Now can also flip a coin or roll a die for you.
If you're not sure about a choice you need to make, you can just ask Google to flip a coin or roll dice and you'll get your result right away.
It sure beats having your die roll away on you, doesn't it?

3. It can also calculate the tip for you.
Many of us will go blank when we have to figure out 18% of our bill, but now all you need to do is ask Google when you go out to eat. After you activate it with "OK Google," you just ask what the tip is on the total value of your meal.
4. Google Now also answers to Jarvis.
If you want to feel like Tony Stark today, saying "OK Jarvis" will apparently have the same function as saying "OK Google." It seems your device will also answer to "OK Hugo" for some reason.
Yet this is far from the only opportunity Google Now gives you to totally geek out.
Remember that it's kind of hard for a monotone robot voice to do a Scottish accent.
If that weren't enough, you can also use Google Maps to find magical locations from the story including the Magical Congress of the USA and the main character's apartment.
If you're a real risk-taker, there's another feature that could have some embarrassing results.
9. You can ask Google Now to read your texts aloud.
To do this, you say, "OK Google, show me my last messages."
Don't worry if there's something you'd like to keep to yourself in there because you'll have an opportunity not to have them read out loud. Your device will then ask if you want to reply, hear it again, or move on to the next one.

10. If you're in a new area with some time to kill, Google has you covered.
If you have location services turned on, you can ask about attractions in your area and your device will let you know about nearby restaurants, events, and even popular places to take a photo.
11. You can even annoy Google Now on road trips if you really want to.
While in the navigation mode in Google Maps, you can hit the microphone and ask "Are we there yet?" At first, your assistant will simply tell you how far you have to go.
Yet if you keep asking, it will eventually say "if you ask me again, we won't stop for ice cream."

12. You'll get search results for The Who if you ask "Who are you?"
But not before your assistant says, "Searching for oneself can take a lifetime, but a good place to start is classic rock."
