Have you heard of a Japanese Water Cake? It's this amazingly beautiful dessert that is absolutely stunning. It looks like a glass orb. It's delicate, sweet, and light. And it dissolves right before your eyes. It has a gelatin-type texture, but is nothing like you've ever eaten before. The best part of it all? It's amazingly easy to make. This is the kind of dessert that you make and serve when you're wanting to impress people. Trust us here at Diply when we say that you won't regret the experience if you decide to try these out!

What you'll need:

- 12 grams sugar
- 15 grams agar powder
- 500 ml water
- soy flour
- brown sugar syrup
- ice ball molds

The method:

Put your sugar and agar powder into a pot. While mixing, add your water. Bring this mixture to a boil, while mixing. Pour into your spherical molds. Refrigerate for 2 hours. Now....I must say that these are not the kind of desserts that you make ahead and keep. These delicate and stunning cakes are show-stoppers, but will dissolve if they're not eaten within 30 minutes. When you're ready to eat them, carefully remove from the molds and plate. Maybe give them a little jiggle. Serve with soy flour and brown sugar syrup. Get prepared for gasps of awe when you serve these tasty little wonders.
