Delicious Three-Ingredient Pancake Recipe

Weekends were made for pancakes. They are the perfect start to a day off. Think about the word: pan. cake. As in...cake in a pan. They fill the house with a warm, comforting aroma. Then you smother them in toppings (I'm personally a fan of peanut butter and maple syrup, but butter and syrup, or fruit and whipped cream...or...jam and syrup...mmmm...are all good options too). And it makes it seem like the whole entire world is your oyster.

These three-ingredient pancakes are incredibly simple to whip up. Plus, they're full of good-for-you ingredients that you can feel good about indulging in. The bonus is that you probably have the everything you need for this in your kitchen right now, so if you're in a pancake mood, Diply's got you covered.

What you'll need:

- 1/2 cup rolled oats
- 1 banana (the more ripe, the better)
-  4 tbsp milk
- pinch of salt
- chocolate chips ("optional"...but not really. Because, chocolate)

The method:

Mix ingredients together. If your banana is really ripe, it will be softer and sweeter, which will make for better pancakes. Spoon into your pan and cook on one side. Flip and finish cooking it. Continue until you're done the batch. This is thicker than regular pancake mix, so you might need to spread it out a bit when you plop it into the pan.
