Constant Ringing In Your Ears Could Be Caused By A Few Things

SHARE
At any given moment, there are so many possible things that could go wrong with our bodies. Have you ever stopped to think about how fragile we really are? Sure, we're pretty resistant, but there are certain parts of us that are extremely susceptible to damage, like our ears. Our ears constantly absorb sounds and have to deal with that constant wear and tear, but for some people, they're subject to extremely loud noises. It's nothing new to hear that really loud noises can seriously damage ears, but are you aware of what the damage caused can do and how it pans out throughout a lifetime?

Have you experienced that horrible ringing in your ears?

Well, that ringing is actually known as "tinnitus," and there are a few causes for it.

The first cause, according to the Mayo Clinic, is age-related hearing loss.

Another reason could be the stiffening of bones in the middle of your ear, though this is seen as being more of a case of genetics.

If you're young, the most likely scenario is constant exposure to loud noises.

This includes listening to music too loudly, working in a loud environment, etc.

One study actually found that tinnitus was most common among those with "consistent exposure to loud noises at work and during leisure time."

Basically, turn down your music a couple of notches!
