3. If you want to be considered a real gamer, you have to experience Final Fantasy VII. For me, this was the coming of age game for my generation.
4. I haven't had the chance to play the last Metal Gear yet, but I grew up playing the 8-bit NES version, so get off my back.
5. No list about video games would be complete without including Halo. Master Chief is an icon, and this is your game. What are you waiting for?
6. Street Fighter is a classic, and I'm dating myself, but I can't think of a game I dropped more money into than Super Street Fighter II Turbo at the arcade.
7. Listen, I've played WoW since vanilla, so choosing one background to represent everything it means to me was never going to happen. I'm always Horde (lok'tar ogar) so it wouldn't have anything to do with you gnome-loving scum.
8. Assassin's Creed. This game just keeps getting better and the original was pretty damn great.
9. You know, for a game about a plumber, I've never once seen a toilet on my way to saving the princess. This actually makes a lot of sense.
10. Wondering how many of you know what game this is without any help? I'm not telling you. I'm that evil.
11. Straight up, I've never played League of Legends, but I just don't have time with all my interneting and Warcraftery. I couldn't find anything that seemed to be a definitive image for it, however. Anyone care to explain that?
12. Call of Duty. I've lost so many opportunities to experience life because of this game. And I'm not alone, so maybe this background is your poison.
13. If you have never played Minecraft, you are missing out on what may be your favorite thing in life. If you love LEGO, freedom ('Merica), and creativity, Minecraft might fill that giant void in your life.
14. Oh, Bioshock! Admit it, the first time you saw and heard a Big Daddy, you soiled yourself.
15. Going down as one of the greatest games of all time, Skyrim is nothing to be ashamed of. Think you're the Dragonborn? Prove it.
16. I actually wish that instead of shells and bananas, we could drop little cop cars that did this.
17. If you have anything bad to say about GTA V, then we've got nothing to talk about. There are pages of amazing background artwork online related to this series, so you should have no problem customizing your phone to suit your favorite character.
18. I love retro flat design and retro video games, so MegaMan was an absolute lock to make the cut.
