Watch The Beautiful Technique That Is Submerged Arc Welding

Submerged arc welding (SAW) is a special form of arc welding that uses a pile of powdered materials to "submerge" the welding process and protect from sparks and splatter. It's typically used on carbon steels and provides a high quality weld that goes very deep. It's also pretty awesome to see in action. Shall we?
