By now, you're probably used to sharing your pictures, thoughts, and comments with the world, but I'm sure that wasn't always the case.
Think about it: Instagram was made to quickly capture and share user-generated pictures on the go, but now it's basically a carefully curated personalized summary that allows others to judge you more efficiently.
Between the filters, Snapchat and editing software, it's the best possible way to present the perfected version of yourself to the world. But even if it's inherently unhealthy for society, it's also extremely addictive and full of ridiculousness.
And since it's not going anywhere, you might as well enjoy it.
