On the heels of the breakthrough discovery of gravitational waves predicted by none other than Al Einstein, it's time to appreciate some incredible images of space. Every once in a while you just need to sit back, crank up some Floyd, and get lost in the beautiful cosmic dust.

Check out this awe-inspiring list of 17 incredible space images in honor of the genius himself, Albert Einstein.

10. Moons orbiting Jupiter. Check out the shadows that they cast!

11. The Rossette Nebula from an amateur photographer.

12. Labelled planets over Dover, England.

Don't you wish they were labelled all of the time? I can never tell the difference between stars and planets in the night sky.

I feel like this is what David Gilmour and Paul McCartney are looking at, while sharing a doob.

13. Labelled planets over the Vistula River in Torun, Poland.

14. Hubble captures the globular cluster M107.

15. Oh you know, just the birth of a star in galaxy M83 captured by Hubble.

16. Definitely one of my favorites coming from Arizona. A composite of the Milky Way through the red rocks of Antelope Canyon.

17. The Flame Nebula. I thought this was fake the first time I saw it, but no.

Somewhere, in a galaxy far far away, Einstein is having a ride through the stars!
