14 Festive Peeps Who Invited Harry Potter To Christmas

SHARE
Let's be real here — the best pop culture Christmases happen at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. From the giant Christmas trees to the magnificent feast, wizards do the holidays right. So whether you are having a few friends over for a casual dinner or throwing your own Yule Ball, here are a bunch of ways you can bring a little of the wizarding world into your festivities!

1. Display your belief in the Deathly Hallows.

With this 'wreath' on your door, no one will mistake you for just some simple muggle's.

2. Catch some keys for your tree.

I don't believe these ones are actually enchanted, so they shouldstay put when you hang them among the branches.

3. Ornaments sponsored by Ollivander's.

I like to think that wizard shops create tiny enchanted versions of their wares to hang on magical Christmas trees.

4. Keep an eye on that mistletoe!

"It's often infested with nargles."

5. Mimic floating candles with hanging tea lights.

Glass tea light orbs can bring that Great Hall feel to your own home.

6. Or skip the real fire and float LED candles.

I love the Hedwig topper on the tree!

7. Ugly Weasley sweater cookies.

Tasty, cute, and you won't be forced to wear them. Personalize the initials for your own family!

8. Make a butterbeer latte!

I'll take three right now, thanks!

9. Or even better, butterbeer fudge!

I'd also like to add a full tray of these to my order!

10. Golden Snitch chocolates.

Really, any gold foil-wrapped candy could be turned into a snitch with some paper feathers. Much easier to catch, though they still go quickly.

11. Put your tree in a cauldron.

Just convert a cheap bucket with some cardboard and paper mache!

12. Make snitch ornaments for your tree.

The gold and white motif of the snitch already feels so Christmas-y.

13. Or top your tree with one!

So pretty!

14. For you gingerbread-loving wizards out there: Hogwarts.

The details in this are so incredible, I can only think it was made by magic!
