Where Are The 'Jackass' Guys Now?

SHARE
It's really hard to forget the Jackassseries. We laughed, we cried, we winced as a guy took a blow to the groin or some other ridiculous prank. They sacrificed a great deal for the sake of making others laugh. But whatever happened to the Jackasscrew?

1. THEN

Let's start with the ringleader of the gang, Johnny Knoxville. He began his career with skateboarding magazine Big Brother doing what ridiculous stunts he could pull off even then.

2. NOW

Knoxville has focused on more traditional acting in his time since Jackasswith films such as Walking Tall, The Ringer, and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and its sequel. That's not to say he's forgotten his roots. He's done a few Jackass-related movies and specials here and there like Bad Grandpa.

3. THEN

The madman with the unforgettable smile, Steve-O, was brought on when he impressed the Jackassgang with his antics in a flea market when he was only starting out as a clown school graduate. He went on to become one of the primary faces of Jackass, especially when he tattooed that face on his own back.

4. NOW

Steve-O, after a battle with mental illness and addiction, is clean and sober and has done a number of projects such as Killer Karaoke and appearing on Dancing With The Stars. He was arrested and jailed for 30 days in 2015 for a protest against Seaworld involving fireworks, a crane, and an orca balloon. Seems like he's as cheeky as ever!

5. THEN

Ehren McGehey was a retired pro-snowboarder with a broken neck and torn ACL before starting the series, and that list only grew with his time on the show. His most famous stunt was having Bam pull one of his teeth with a Lamborghini.

6. NOW

Ehren has replaced the missing tooth these days. He also ran a snowboard/skate shop in his home town for a while, but these days has taken up photography and even occasionally snowboards.

7. THEN

Dave England was known for some of the grossest pranks, especially those involving being a "professional sh*tter" – in his own words!

8. NOW

Aside from reprising his Jackasspart, he's been some films like Shred1 and 2 with Tom Green and the upcoming Betting on Baker. He's also been busy raising his four children.

9. THEN

Jason "Wee Man" Acuna was originally part of the Big Brother magazine team as a featured skateboarder. He brought a unique angle for many of the pranks and stunts pulled in the Jackassseries, such as skate boarding in an Oompa Loompa costume for the Jackasspilot.

10. NOW

Jason has since appeared on various reality TV series such as Armed and Famous and Celebrity Circusas well as a direct-to-DVD movie called Elf Man. He even owns a Chronic Tacos franchise on top of it all.

11. THEN

Best known for chasing Wee Man in his underwear, sweating in a clear body suit, and for flipping tables in rage, Preston Lacy was always good for a laugh.

12. NOW

Preston has made two unrelated Christmas films with SNLalum Chris Kattan. On top of that he has been doing stand-up comedy tours and doing shows with Steve-O.

13. THEN

Jeff Tremaine was the man with the plan at Big Brother magazine, he hired Johnny Knoxville and helped pitch the show to MTV as well as eventually became the series' producer, and even produced various other shows.

14. NOW

Jeff must have found his calling in producing, as that's what he's been doing ever since. Aside from the continued Jackassexploits, he has produced shows like Loiter Squad, Ridiculousness and Angry Skies.

15. THEN

Ryan Dunn, Bam's best friend, was brought along with Bam from their CKY days. The two were inseparable, appearing together in many of the various spinoffs including Viva La Bam.

16. NOW

Ryan Dunn's tragic death in 2011 in a car accident was a major turning point for Bam. At the time of his death, he had been working on shows like Proving Grounds and Homewrecker, as well as bit parts in the film Booted.

17. THEN

Bam Margera began his own brand of antics with CKY and was noticed by and brought on board with Jackassearly on along with his crew. Bam was known for professional skateboarding as well as musical pursuits, as well as spin-offs like Viva La Bam.

18. NOW

Bam hit a very low point in his life following the death of his best friend, Ryan Dunn. Between hard partying, drugs, and alcohol, the years were notfavorable to him. However, he is now on a VH1 show with his mother, Family Therapy With Dr. Jenn, to help recover and already seems to be in a much better place.

19. THEN

Chris Pontius had a strong penchant of getting naked. A lot. Or as close to it as he could. He later joined Steve-O to host Wildboyz.

20. NOW

Pontius has appeared in various reality shows, such as Tyler the Creator's show Loiter Squad and still buddies around with Steve-O occasionally.
