This Nail Polish Could Help Prevent Sexual Assault

SHARE
Color-changing nail polish has become a huge trend recently. You put your nails under hot or cold water, and the color of your nail polish changes. Amazing! Now, there is another nail polish that changes color, and it has nothing to do with the temperature of the water. Four North Carolina State University students are changing the way the world looks at nail polish. They are going to create the first nail polish that changes color when it detects date rape drugs. The university students came up with this idea in response to the number of sexual assaults that are happening. Keep reading so you can learn more about this nail polish and how it works.

These are the men behind this amazing and innovative idea. Great job, boys!

It's always best to hover over your drink, but turning your back on it can sometimes happen. Even if you looked away for 10 seconds, someone could slip something in your drink.

If you ever feel unsure, just dip your finger in. Better to be safe than sorry!

This nail polish can detect date rape drugs such as GHB, Rohypnol and Xanax.

It takes only one dip to find out if your drink is spiked.

This is an amazing way to keep safe. It will probably also save a ton of lives.

This nail polish has been getting a lot of recognition. They even got a shout-out in a Modern Family episode. So cool!

The first nail polish they plan on releasing is a clear top coat.

The top coat would be a perfect polish to add to your collection!

This nail polish is still in the early phase of research and development. Hopefully, they make a blue polish like this.

Add a purple polish to the list, too!

This polish is a great way to stay safe and have fun!

I love this idea! Do you? Comment to let us know!
