15 Brilliant Ways To Hack Your Tech

SHARE
We have all these gizmos and gadgets that make our life 10 times easier. I know for me, without my phone, I would be lost. It is my lifeline. I have lists in there, my calendar, and thousands of pictures that are very near and dear to my heart. My phone definitely makes my life a lot easier. It helps to keep me organized and on top of things. Yes, electronics are amazing, but did you know you can make them even better? Here is a list of 15 ways to get the most out of your tech! Let us know if you have tried any of these, and how well they worked for you.

1. Black Light

Cover the flash light on your phone with a piece of scotch tape that has been colored with a blue and a purple marker and you now have your own black light. So cool!

2. Phone Stand

If you need a stand for your phone just grab a paper clip! First, straighten out all the bends and then bend it in half.  Bend each leg forward 1 1/4" down from the middle bend. Measure another 1 1/4" down and bend each leg forward again. It's that easy!

3. Protect Your Cords

iPhone cords seem to be the worst for coming apart. Protect your cord with the spring from a pen.

Stop this before it even starts!

4. Curl Your Cords

If you have long, out of control cords you can use a pen to curl them so they are more manageable.

Cords are one of the most annoying things when it comes to electronics.

Here is another great hack for your cords!

5. Cord Storage

Cords, cords and more cords. Store them neatly and organized with a DIY toilet paper cord storage box.

6. Headphone carry case

Don't let your headphones get wrecked because they are thrown in the bottom of your bag. Just make this quick and easy case using an old mint container.

7. Cord Labels

Don't fight with cords on a power bar anymore. Label your cords with a bit of masking or washi tape.

8. Brighten Up A Keyboard

Because plain keyboards are so 2015! You can even find bright and colorful washi tape at the dollar store to make this hack less costly.

9. Prevent Overheating

You can use an egg carton from a flat of eggs to prevent your laptop from overheating.

Nobody wants to see this.

10. Hang Up Your Tablet

If you want to Netflix and chill, then this is the tech hack for you!

11. Tablet Stand

Cook with ease and easily read your recipes when you make this cutting board tablet stand.

12. Earbud cord holder

Rather than having your earbuds get all tangled in the bottom of your bag, you can use an old plastic card to make a earbud holder.

But when it comes to an annoying chicken pulling out your ear bud...

We have no solution.

13. Deluxe Cord Holder

If you need help keeping your cords from falling behind the desk or table, let your friendly neighborhood Lego man be of assistance.

Or take it one step further and upgrade by gluing a piece of lego to the side of your desk.

14. Organized Electronics Drawer

Hide a power bar inside your nightstand drawer to keep the top of your nightstand less cluttered.

15. Clean your keyboard with a sticky note.

Before you toss a sticky note in the trash, run the sticky side in between your keys to remove any gunk. Genius!
