For years, couples, roommates, siblings and more have fought nail and tooth over which way the toilet paper roll should be presented. Should the next piece be under the roll, or over? This debate has finally come to a bitter end with the original patent for the toilet paper roll from 1891. A man by the name of Seth Wheeler had decided that enough was enough and something had to be done to improve waste disposal time. He put his brain to work and patented a little device called the toilet paper roll.

The Dual.

And there it is folks.

The original patent shows that in fact the "over" position is the correct way to load a toilet paper roll. The debate is a far and deep one, and we're sure the under side is not going to allow this to rest.

They will retaliate.

Be prepared.
