This Is Not A Drill: The 'Harry Potter' Version Of 'Pokémon Go' Is Finally Happening

SHARE
Last year, our little hearts skipped a beat when we heard the news that we would be getting a Harry Potter version of the ever-popular Pokémon Go game.

We'd just about given up any hope that we would be glued to our phones, living out our fantasies of being actual witches and wizards — until now.

Niantic Labs, the company behind Pokémon Go,announced that they will be blessing us with another extraordinary mobile game: Harry Potter: Wizards Unite.

The company will be partnering with Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and WB Games San Francisco’s development team to bring the wizarding world to life.

According to Niantic Labs, the game will pretty much allow us all to become witches and wizards.

In their announcement, the company says, "Players will learn spells, explore their real-world neighborhoods and cities to discover & fight legendary beasts, and team up with others to take down powerful enemies."

We are so here for all of this.

The game will reportedly be released in 2018, so you might want to cancel any future plans that you may have had.

I have no plans so far, so I'm good. Anyone wanna be friends?

Who's excited to play Harry Potter: Wizards Unite?!

We might need to get our hands on an invisibility cloak so we can play during work hours without our boss knowing. Err, I mean...

SHARE if you can't wait to throw on your Hogwarts robes and actually make your witch or wizard dreams come true!
