Dog's First Hug After Being Adopted

SHARE
There are two kinds of people in this world: the kind of people who lock dogs up and the kind who set them free.

Unfortunately, so many dogs' stories revolve around the first type of person. They never get to know about the others. The ones who care. The ones who try. The ones who want nothing more than to save these sweeties from any more harm.

Luckily for this sweet hound, Sarah, her story involves both types of people.
Sarah was locked up her whole life. She had no interaction with caring or kind people.

Her owner at the time knew the dog wanted the touch of humans, but refused because she'd grown "yucky" from all the neglect. And then this family changed everything.

Watching this hound happy in her new forever home is the sweetest thing I've seen in a long time. Seeing the look in her eyes when her new mom holds and hugs her...

That just sent me straight to tears. Let this be a reminder that it's never too late to take a chance on a dog. It's never too late to stand up for what's right.

This is the story of Sarah's rescue.

Please SHARE with everyone who knows the right way to treat a dog.
