This 4-Year-Old Saved His Classmates Life And Received An Adorable Nickname For His Bravery

Little Harvey Price can teach moms everywhere an important lesson: your children are never too young to learn first aid skills.

The youngster is only four years old and attends Pantside Primary School in South East Wales.

Despite his young age, the toddler’s quick response in an urgent situation helped save another student’s life, and it serves as a reminder that it only takes a moment to change a life forever. 

Harvey sprang into action when his classmate Aniya Williams began choking during their lunchtime break.

Aniya had been eating a sandwich, and after she took a drink, a piece of sandwich got caught in her throat and caused her to choke. Immediately, Harvey bolted to her side and began to whack her on the back.

“He jumped up without even a second thought," Harvey’s teacher Kira told BBC. 

"He is a delightful little boy and is very happy and caring."

Thanks to Harvey’s heroic actions, the four-year-old has received the cutest nickname from dinner ladies at the school…

”Dr. Harvey”

The women dressed him up in a medical coat and stethoscope. After the lifesaving act, the nickname "Dr. Harvey" has also been picked up by classmates.

"For a four-year-old to think quickly like that — we can't get over it.” Harvey’s mother told BBC. "We're absolutely ecstatic, if I'm honest, me and his dad.”

Aniya’s mom and dad are also thrilled at Harvey’s quick response and personally thanked both Harvey and his parents.

At only four years old, it really is a miracle that “Dr. Harvey” was able to react so quickly in a life or death situation.

The young lifesaver can remind us all that is is never too early to teach your children basic lifesaving skills... because you never know when they may be needed!
