And as always, this recipe gets Diply's stamp of delicious approval.
- 4 eggs
- 4 tbsp cream cheese
- 1 tbsp honey (optional)
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- Rosemary, chopped (optional)
The method:
Separate the egg whites from the egg yolks. In the bowl with egg yolks, add cream cheese and honey (if you're using). Mix well. In your egg whites bowl, add your baking soda and beat on high until it's light and fluffy. Carefully fold your yolk mixture into your egg white mixture. On a pan lined with parchment paper, spoon your mixture into even dollops. If you're using it (and I recommend it), sprinkle the rosemary on top of your dollops. Bake at 300 degrees for 17 minutes. If you're looking for a darker shade (purely for aesthetics), you can broil for a minute. Take out of the oven and let them cool. These are going to smell WONDERFUL when they come out of the oven, especially if you used the rosemary. You can use these for many things, like to eat with dips, as bun replacements, with your favorite soups or stews.
