I'll admit it: all families are dysfunctional in their own quirky way. Your family may seem to be the most dysfunctional because you're constantly immersed in the drama and the craziness, but you'll be surprised to find out that yours may be one of the more normal ones. See, there's a science behind dysfunctional families. There are varying levels of dysfunction with different levels of intensity:

1. Healthy dysfunctional: the family that is just the right amount of dysfunctional to be functional.
2. Dysfunktional: the family that is closer to the more extreme end of dysfunction, so the family itself is funkier and odder than the rest.
3. Bat s$%^ insane: the family that is so dysfunctional that it's just a hot mess; emphasis on the mess...like crazy, racist Aunt Linda who needs to put down the wine and pick up a book.

Most of the odd families in this list can find themselves on the second or third tier of dysfunction, and for our enjoyment, here they are:
