Her Parenting Skills Were Criticized After Posting This Mirror Selfie. Her Response Is Epic.

SHARE
As if being a new mom was not hard enough, imagine being criticized by hundreds of people who do not know you, just for posting a simple mirror selfie?

That is exactly what happened to personal trainer Chontel Duncan. The fitness guru with 483,000 followers received a lot of flak after posing for a photo with her adorable newborn son.

Her response to the haters will make you think twice before writing a judgmental comment on social media.

Chontel Duncan is a freak of nature.

For real. That little guy she's holding in her hand is not her nephew, or cousin, or anything like that. That is her son Jeremiah. Yup, she's a mom, and she looks like that.

Ready to have your mind boggled even more? That picture was taken and posted on Instagram 13 days after little Jeremiah was born via C-section.

No, I'm not kidding.

While a lot of people commented on Duncan's amazing physique and adorable newborn son, others noticed something different.

They criticized the way she was holding Jeremiah.

A lot of people disapproved of the lack of support she was providing to her baby's neck. In the photo it appears as if the baby's head is tilting backwards, when in fact, Jeremiah simply lifted his head at the exact moment the photo was taken.

Many were quick to condemn the new mom for the lack of safety.

The original photo received over 3,000 comments! Many people in Duncan's 483,000 Instagram army stuck up for her against those suggesting she is a bad parent.

Duncan posted another photo to set the record straight.

She responded to her critiques with this image, and also expressed her less-than-impressed thoughts.

"Sorry but I'm not going to be nice about what I think about your belittling attempts to educate me on the safety or better yet my intentions as a new mum," she captioned the photo.

"As explained earlier Miah lifted his head up an for that second that he did so, I just happened to have caught it on camera, before he then laid his head back down on my chest. New borns can lift their own heads up its not me standing there with his head flicked back shooting away... So have faith people and if you honestly don't like my page just CLICK UNFOLLOW!!!!!"

Take notes, Instagram community. Don't be so quick to judge next time.
