Since the whirlwind of fanfare that was their courtship and wedding, to the birth of their two children, I think it's safe to say we love Prince William and Kate Middleton. They are such a happy and loving family, you can't help but smile with them. But there might be something that you noticed about their pictures from their tour through India and Bhutan that might catch you off guard.

Isn't the Royal Family just too precious?
Prince George is growing up so fast, and Princess Charlotte is too adorable.
Most recently, we've been keeping an eye on Prince William and Kate as they make a royal tour of India and Bhutan.
There's no shortage of beautiful scenery and incredible events for them to attend.
But if you pay attention to the photos from the tour, you might have noticed something.
There's definitely a trend going on throughout their public photos.
As much as they are always seen together and happily smiling, they are never holding hands.
In fact, their public interactions are pretty tame as far as a married couple goes.
Well there's a reason for that...
Now you might suspect that tensions are high, or the marriage is being kept up for appearances.
Thankfully, that is not the case.
The couple is happier than ever. The fact of the matter is that they are on the royal equivalent of a business trip.
They're not on a family vacation with the tour through India and Bhutan, it's official royal business.
So while they are both still very much adorably in love with each other, they must act with decorum.
They are representing the Royal Family, after all. They are technically on the clock.
I don't know about your job, but usually it's not encouraged for PDA's in the workplace.
Unless your job is totally ok with that, which is pretty awesome if it is.
That's not to say everything was a stiff upper lip for the entire trip.
The royal couple clearly had a great deal of fun with their travels.
There were definitely moments they could let their hair down and enjoy themselves.
They were quite sporting even.
While it wasn't all fun and games on the Royal Tour, it was a wonderful success.
There was definitely games though.
Though I'm sure they are very happy to be back home with their favorite little royals.
