SHARE
Is it me or is Amy, like, fully living right now?! Amy Schumer is everywhere these days. She's on magazine covers, she's always being interviewed, she just released her book (I'm dying to read it!), Inside Amy Schumer won an Emmy and Trainwreck was a box office hit! Oh, and not to mention, she just casually says anything she wants and it's hilarious. It's actually unfair how naturally funny she is! And she proves just how funny she can be in Trainwreck. It's just one of those movies where you can watch it over and over again and STILL laugh at the same jokes. And don't deny it! You've seen it several times too. Here are some behind-the-scenes facts about the show that will make you seriously in awe of Amy and it'll make you want to watch the movie again!

1. Amy Schumer spent two months practicing with a cheerleading squad for her dance number at the end of the movie. She said it was the hardest thing she's ever had to do!

2. Some of Trainwreck is based on Amy's childhood. Her dad really does suffer from multiple sclerosis and she was initially scared to put that storyline in the movie but she knew it would help other children going through the same thing with their parents.

3. Chris Rock was on set when LeBron James' scenes were being filmed and he actually came up with several lines that LeBron says in the movie!

4. I hope Chris came up with the Downton Abbey line. I secretly hope they both watch that show. It's so good!

5. In the original screenplay, Amy actually wrote "Tilda Swinton Type" to describe her character's boss. Judd Apatow found out and he called Tilda and offered her the part.

Tilda accepted because she's a huge fan of Judd and was secretly waiting for him to cast her in something!

6. John Cena had to practice with a male stunt double for his sex scene with Amy's character!

7. Judd reached out to Amy about making the movie with her after he heard her interview on The Howard Stern Show

8. Apparently he couldn't believe how funny she was while discussing the troubles of her father's illness.

9. And it all worked out in the end since Amy wrote the script with Judd in mind as the director.

I would literally die to be in a room with Amy, Judd and Bill Hader. I'm pretty sure the whole time, I would just be dead on the floor after laughing so hard from their jokes.

10. Judd wanted Bill to get the male lead role but he wasn't sure how he would interact with Amy. So Judd arranged for Amy and Bill just to hang out and get dinner while he watched them interact as a secret screen test. And it worked!

11. Remember Aaron's story about his first kiss? It's actually the same story as Bill's first kiss. Amy wrote it into the script because of how much she loved it when she heard Bill retell it.

12. That's so cool! You never know when a weird personal story is actually good enough to be in a movie too!

13. The infamous photo of Daniel Radcliffe walking, like, a million dogs is from the movie! The internet lost their damn minds when it was leaked and Daniel thought it was hilarious that people actually thought that he quit acting to be a dog walker.

I just want to print this picture out and display it on my wall as art.

14. Amy really wanted LeBron James to be in the movie so she wrote his scenes down to the exact type of Tom Ford suits he would be wearing in hopes that he would accept the role.

15. Amy said the hardest scenes to shoot were the scenes where she's fighting with Brie Larson's character. Apparently, they hit home for her since Brie's character is based on Amy's sister IRL.

16. Amy also started to think of Brie as her younger sister and is still really close with her!

17. John's girlfriend got SO angry that he agreed to perform the sex scene without her permission that John had to publicly apologize to her.

18.

14. Amy is such a huge fan of The Royal Tenenbaums that she stole a line from Anjelica Huston's character in the movie. Anjelica says, "Where's the doctor?" when she finds out he has cancer and Amy's character says the same thing to her dad in Trainwreck.

19. For the montage of moments where Amy has a series of one-night stands, she insisted that those scenes be shot with her character saying goodbye to them at the door.

She was afraid if they shot those scenes with her character always in bed, the critics and audience would think of her character as slutty.

20. COMMENT and tell us your favorite scene or line from the movie!

Basically, John Cena was a real gem in this movie. My favorite line was when his character in the movie says, "My safe word is pineapple."
